By car, you'll be on the ring road in no time, with easy access to the highway toward Brno or Plzeň. And for sports enthusiasts, there's a bike path that offers beautiful views along the Vltava River, leading all the way to the city center or north Prague.

Just a short distance from the river, you’ll also find unique spots like inline skating and BMX parks. And for dog owners, there’s even a dedicated dog park.

Do you associate forests only with walks and maybe mushroom picking? Kamýk has much more to offer.

Just head inside and visit one of the outdoor gyms, grab a gazebo on the edge of the woods, or take the kids along the nature trail to the Prague animal rescue center’s petting zoo, stopping to watch the ducks at the Borový reservoir along the way. Or, you know, go mushroom picking after all.

A favorite spot

It’s no wonder this is a popular destination for Prague day-trippers, local dog walkers, and athletes alike. You can walk the nature trail in the pleasant shade of the trees and go birdwatching, head out for a run, or cycle through the ravine along the A21 bike path all the way to the Vltava River. Or, you can play soccer, handball, or basketball at the sports field on the western end of the ravine. And, of course, there’s a refreshment stand on-site.
